Young to be Old

Early marriage can never be ideal. Society though, tries to accept the reality that there are a lot of cases where very young couples are married. It is a disturbing fact, yet we must not ass on this concern.

Usually, the causes of early marriages are early pregnancies due also to premarital sex, wrong decision making and fixed marriages. A lot neglect the negative effects of early marriages. Early marriage usually ends up in divorce because of couple's immaturity. Though there are marriages that still last even for a very long time, early marriages are usually not results of true love between the couples. They marry because the girl is pregnant and there is a sense of urgency that they have to be married. Later on, it will be them and their child who would suffer the consequences of their actions.

Early marriages, like any other marriages, do have advantages and disadvantages, but it will never be ideal nor it could be very helpful in our society. Its disadvantages weighs more than its advantages. We must think and act wisely. We must follow our minds over our hearts and not just be carried away with our emotions, as in the case of early marriages.

Mission to Accomplish

I newly discovered that what I want to achieve in the future is success not just on my chosen career but success in life as a whole. I want to achieve the best that I could have through my efforts and whatever I could extract out of myself. I want to achieve what my parents want for me and the simple dreams I have for myself.

Surely i want to have the best and be able to provide the needs of my family. I want to have, not necessarily everything in this world but, the things that I need, to do my part as a son, citizen of this country and in the future as the head of my own family. I want to have a decent income-generating work in the future and give my parents incentives for everything that they have done for me. I may not be able to achieve everything I want in an instant, but I could start with the simplest things to achieve my dreams. I want to achieve, little by little, things that later on would give me satisfaction and fulfillment in life.

I do have my own unique dreams to achieve. Like anybody else who aims for their goals, I want everything I need to be achieved in the right time. Life is short, but there is much to fulfill and accomplish. For me, the best thing I want to achieve is having to examine my life and make the most out of time to correct my mistakes, fulfill my dreams and have the realization that I have lived a life worth-living.

Biggest "X"

Mistakes are no guests to a person's life. Just as what I did a few years ago. I committed the same mistakes over and over. I didn't attend to my classes; instead, I went somewhere else wasting my time.

Several times that I was reprimanded about taking education for granted, and many times I heard it but didn't listen to it. I knew it was wrong, but I just couldn't control myself from skipping my classes. Sometimes, I felt coming to class, but when the feeling of boredom and when thoughts about my problems during those times came into my mind, I began to lose the will and excitement to come to class. I went to the mall just standing and looking around, and then spent the rest of my time in the internet cafes. I knew at that time that I have to change that kind of attitude, but it was so difficult to be back on track.

I believe that I was stupid at that time and did something that affected what I have and who I have become now. I couldn't turn back the time and correct my mistakes. I did those things out of immaturity. It was my biggest mistake in life, but it gave me the biggest realization for me to mature and live a life worth-living.
